Dear friends of ISCA,

with this ISCApad, I would like to wish you all a good start for the year 2023. A year which hopefully brings to an end some of the global crises we were facing in the past year, such as the global pandemic and the war in Ukraine. And a year full of new ideas and energy, with lots of in-person communication and events, such as at INTERSPEECH 2023 – safe the date for August 20-24 in Dublin, Ireland.

On the ISCA side, I would like to draw your attention to

• The Student Advisory Committee (SAC) which will organize a new set of activities with and for the vibrant student community, see article below;

• The ISCA Fellowship program which still accepts nominations until Feb. 10;

• The ISCA Board elections which will take place March 28 to April 16, and for which nominations are solicited until March 10;

as well as all the other activities highlighted in this ISCApad, as usual kindly compiled by Chris Wellekens. I wish you a good read.
