Dear ISCA Members,

This is our last issue in 2018 and it is certainly not the less important. I invite you to carefully check our section ISCA News: all members are invited to nominate those of us who will serve ISCA community in the future and those whose experience will be honoured.

I have personally known Christian Benoit, a very brilliant young researcher who passed away too early before having demonstrate the plenitude of his promising talents. Our young colleagues are invited to submit their papers to this competition (see section ISCA News).

Our community is very active and I am surprised by the number of open positions I have to report in each issue and also how many conferences are organized to cover various aspects of speech discipline.
