Dear ISCA Members,

Welcome to the August edition of ISCApad!  First of all, let me wish many of you a wonderful summer!

In the past months, ISCA members have contributed to the preparation of INTERSPEECH 2015, as authors, reviewers, organizers, volunteers and cheerleaders. Your contributions have made a difference to the conference!

As INTERSPEECH is less than month away, I trust that you are gearing up for the event. We would like to give you a heads up.

All tutorials are on Sunday (6 Sept). The Main Conference runs from Monday (7 Sept) to Thursday (10 Sept). Please be reminded that ISCA General Assembly is on Tuesday (8 Sept) and Conference Banquet is on Wednesday (9 Sept). The Board will announce ISCA Medalist 2015 and ISCA Fellow Class 2015 during the Opening Ceremony.

INTERSPEECH 2015 will be held at Maritim International Congress Center (ICD) in Dresden, Germany. The venue can be reached via Dresden Hauptbahnhof and Dresden Neustadt train stations. From Dresden airport, you may take the Tram S2 until stop 'Bahnhof Mitte'. More information on travel and how to get there can be found at the conference website. Embracing the theme 'Speech beyond Speech: Towards a Better Understanding of the Most Important Biosignal', the conference will feature many innovations such as virtual presentation.
