Dear Fellow Members of SProSIG,

The SProSIG officer election is now completed.  164 members of SProSIG participated in the election, from 27 member countries.   The top five candidates each received very strong support, received very similar vote totals (three were within one vote of each other), and have the strong support of the outgoing SProSIG officers and Permanent Advisory Committee.  The new SProSIG officers are:

Two groups have offered to host the conference Speech Prosody 2020.  The first round of voting provided two methods for selecting the venue; unfortunately, the two types of vote disagreed.  For that reason, we are holding a second round of voting, to choose among these two highly regarded possible venues.
