Call for Interspeech 2028 bids Interspeech 2024 in Kos feels like yesterday but we are already thinking about the future: Interspeech 2028! In order to prepare for this future I encourage the community to propose bids for Interspeech 2028. Interspeech conferences may be held in any country, although they generally should not occur on the same continent in two consecutive years. After this year’s Interspeech conference in Kos, the conferences in 2025, 2026, and 2027 will be held in Rotterdam (The Netherlands), Sydney (Australia), and Sao Paulo (Brazil) respectively. Will you be hosting Interspeech 2028!? In order to prepare the bid, please contact the ISCA conference coordinators at conferences@isca-speech.org well in advance of the deadline in order to prepare a high-quality bid. Information about the bid and the guidelines can be found at https://isca-speech.org/Interspeech-Conferences. Note that the deadline for the bid submission is November 1, 2024.
Award nomination season is coming up The deadlines for the nominations the ISCA Scientific Medal, ISCA Fellow and ISCA Service Medal are coming up! I would like to invite you to nominate one (or more) of your esteemed colleagues for one of the ISCA honours. Logo competition In honor of Interspeech's 25th anniversary, we launched a competition to design a new ISCA logo. You can still participate! Participants should design a logo that embodies ISCA, the home for speech science and technology researchers and innovators. Please take inspiration from ISCA’s mission: to promote activities and exchanges in speech communication science and technology. The logo should not only align with the expectations of ISCA’s existing members but also serve to attract a wider audience, ultimately representing speech and language science and technology.
