Dear friends of ISCA,

it seems to me that 2023 has started in a very active manner, and your favorite association is also busy with quite a number of activities:

• We are preparing the elections for the 2023-2027 ISCA board period; six places are to be filled, as three board members (including me) are going to leave the board – three others can be re-elected; nominations are open until March 10, see the ISCA front page

• We reviewed the bids we have received for hosting INTERSPEECH 2026; a decision will be taken soon, and we will keep you informed in the upcoming ISCApad

• We received a number of proposals for the next ISCA medalist; these are currently discussed by the board and the next medalist will be notified as soon as possible; you will have a keynote talk from her/him at the next INTERSPEECH 2023 in Dublin

• Nominations for ISCA fellows are still open until February 10, see the ISCA front page

• The organizing team of INTERSPEECH 2023 in Dublin is very active in the preparation of the event and the technical program; please note that the tutorial proposal deadline has been postponed to February 10

• For INTERSPEECH 2023, and all upcoming events, we are still seeking new reviewers; please see the note on the ISCA front page and in this ISCApad

• ISCA is busy with installing a new software (WildApricot) for all of its web-based services; more information will follow soon
