2-6 Extended nomination for ISCA Distinguished Lecturers

Extended nomination for ISCA distinguished lecturers.

We are seeking for more nominations for ISCA Distinguished Lecturers for the period 2022-2023. The COVID situation is still unpredictable and traveling is still difficult. To continue our DL program, where students and young researchers can meet expert researchers, the duty of DL is changed from visiting under-represented areas for talks and seminars to delivering online talks including interactive discussion with students and young researchers. We hope that we can collect more nominations for DL from the ISCA members. Details of the nomination scheme are available at the ISCA Distinguished Lecturers webpage.

The deadline is the end of February 2022.

Each nomination should include the following information:

- a short biography of the candidate

- a list of selected publications
- a CV (resume)

- reasons of nomination

- a website of the nominee, if possible

- topics/titles of up to three possible lectures that the nominee could give

A template form for nomination is available on the ISCA website.

Please note that the nominator must ensure the candidate is willing to serve if elected. Also, nominations from previous years will be only considered if updated. Finally, self-nominations are permitted, but must include a letter of support from an ISCA Fellow or Board Member.

Nominations should be sent to secretariat [at] isca-speech.org.

Nobuaki Minematsu, ISCA Board Coordinator of the DL program
