Vocapia Research is hiring an R&D Engineer/Scientist, to build and improve multilingual language processing systems relying on machine learning techniques. We are seeking candidates with substantial programming experience who are able to carry out careful experimental work, paying attention to details. We are looking for highly-motivated, goal-driven individuals who also desire to be team players.

Main qualifications

• Master's, PhD or Engineering degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering
• Experience in language processing, speech recognition or machine learning
• Strong programming skills using C/C++ and scripting languages in a UNIX/Linux environment
• Good knowledge of written and spoken English. Fluency in one or more other languages is a strong plus (in particular Arabic, Dutch, German, Italian, Japanese, Mandarin, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Russian, Spanish and Turkish)

Preference will be given to candidates who have experience in speech and language processing.
