Dear Members, Welcome to this April Issue. We start this spring with very sad news: Professor Fujimura passed over last month. His past PhD students, assistants and collegues have written his obituary (below) demonstrating Osamu Fujimura's incredible energy and creativity. The reviewing process for INTERSpeech 2017 has started and very soon the authors will be informed about the acceptance of their contribution(s). I wish good luck to all but selection is mandatory. A rejected paper is not a bad paper: either in its domain the coverage is too wide or it is a bit in advance on the general opinion. Please vote for the new board: your choice will fix guidelines for the future of the association. The Christian Benoit award will be granted at Interspeech 2017. See below, the call for application. With the hope to meet in Stockholm. ISCApad editor Professor emeritus Institut Eurecom
