Dear Members,

We have to congratulate Jennifer Cole and Laurence Devillers who have been appointed Distinguished Lecturers for the year 2017-2018.

In the next days, the deadline for submitting papers at Interspeech will be over. Do not procrastinate!! You will have an additional delay for special sessions as well as for the challenge Speak and Tell.

A new board will be elected: it is important to participate to the ballot to make the board representative and efficient.

A last remark: if you submitted a job offer, you have better to inform me as soon as the position is filled to avoid overcrowding application letters and not to disappoint potential candidates.
