Welcome to the December edition of ISCApad!

It has been a wonderful 2016. As we conclude the year,  We have much to celebrate.

In 2016, we launched the ISCA Risk Fund to provide a safety mechanism for future INTERSPEECH conferences. We started to assign Digital Object Identifiers to all INTERSPEECH papers. We had INTERSPEECH 2016 with the highest number of participation, and ISCA membership broke a new record to the highest.

I thank all volunteers who have served ISCA in the past year.  And I wish all ISCA members a very merry festive season and a Happy New Year!
