Dear Members,

This month I draw your attention on many important inforemations concerning ISCA's life.

First the board will be renewed and new members will be elected. You will find the detailed information under ISCA News.

Second, you are invited to nominate candidates to ISCA fellowship. How to do? see under ISCA News.

Third, an important task of ISCA is to disseminate knowledge about speech communication. A very efficient method aside our conferencea and workshops is to send some ISCA ambassadors to different countries to elicit vocations in speech research; they are our Distinguished Lecturers (DL). There is now an urgent open call for DL candidates ( under ISCA News).

At the end of this year I thank all people who helped me to make this newsletter more efficient by sending content and comments. I wish them and to the whole speech family a very pleasant end of year and that year 2017 will bring the world better news than the finishing bloody 2016. May the world collaborate in peace to the happiness of all.
