Together with our partners at 8 research institutions, we celebrate 25 years of our existence as a lab and center with a Symposium under the theme ?interACT-25: Building Bridges - Breaking Barriers?. The symposium will explore and highlight research and scientific exchange around technologies that break down communication barriers. The event will take place in the beautiful resort town of Baden-Baden (just south of Karlsruhe) on July 14-15, and we look forward to seeing you all there.

Here are a few updates:

InterACT-25 brings together several fields of research. We are excited to announce that well known luminaries and leaders from academia, industry and government in each of these fields have agreed to join us and give presentations on InterACT topics from their perspective. Please find the latest version of the program at: http://www.interact25.org/109.php .
Registration is now open under: http://www.interact25.org/377.php ). We kindly ask you to register, so we can plan dinners, luncheons and transportation appropriately. Advance registration will close on June 17.
We have blocked rooms in Baden-Baden, you will find further details under: http://veranstaltungen.baden-baden.de/index.php?r=veranstaltung/web&id=43&lg=en . As already noted, rooms are filling up fast. Please make reservations at your earliest convenience to secure your preferred accommodation.
There are limited travel funds available provided from sponsors and friends. Should you be unable to attend the symposium for financial reasons, please do note this in your registration so we can check if a travel grant or partial support can be obtained.
A (modest) registration fee is proposed. It will help cover your attendance, dinners, luncheons and all programs.
