Master’s, PhD, and Postdoc Openings at the MuSAE Lab in Montreal, Canada The Multimedia Signal Analysis and Enhancement (MuSAE) Lab has openings at the graduate and post-graduate levels to work in the area of non-intrusive objective speech quality measurement of enhanced speech. Particular interest is placed on microphone array processed speech. The recruited researcher(s) will work closely with national and international industry (e.g., Google) and academic partners. Candidates should have strong knowledge in at least two of the following topics: speech signal processing, single- and multi-channel speech enhancement, subjective/objective speech quality assessment, psychoacoustics, and pattern recognition (eg, deep learning). Hands-on experience with commercial microphone arrays, as well as with speech data collection in noisy and reverberant environments will be considered as great assets.
