Dear ISCA members,

Welcome to the June edition of ISCApad!

We are writing to give you an update. The Board had a meeting on 23 April 2015 in Brisbane during ICASSP. At the meeting, we concluded the selection process of ISCA Medal for Scientific Achievements 2015, ISCA Service Medal 2015, and ISCA Fellows 2015. The Board  also reviewed the progress of INTERSPEECH and workshops, among others.

In April 2015, ISCA completed the election of ISCA new board members for the term 2015-2019. Five members were elected to the ISCA Board from September 2015.  On 6 September 2015, the new Board will elect the new ISCA President. The election results will be announced in the General Assembly on 8 September 2015.

In May 2015, the Board concluded the selection of ISCA Distinguished Lecturers 2015-2016. The Board congratulates the newly appointed Distinguished Lecturers,  Prof. Helen Meng, The Chinese university of Hong Kong, and Prof. Shrikanth Narayanan, University of Southern California, and thanks them for contributing to the DL program to promote research
activities on speech science and technologies.

The TPC of INTERSPEECH 2015 ended a 3-day meeting on 20 May 2015 and announced the paper acceptance. Authors of accepted papers are reminded to upload the final versions by 10 June 2015.
