Dear ISCA members: 

Those who have plans to organize INTERSPEECH 2017 are encouraged to 

submit their proposals to: conferences@isca-speech.org before 

November 1, 2013. A proposal must be submitted by the interested institution, 

usually by the person who will act as chairman of the conference, including the 

basic proposed data such as: 

** Name and position of the proposed General Chair and Vice Chair or Chairpersons 

** Proposed period in September/October when the conference would be held 

* The institution assuming financial responsibility for the conference 

** The city and conference center proposed (with information on that center's capacity) 

* Information on transportation and housing for conference participants 

* Commercial conference organizer (if any) to be employed 

* Likely support from local bodies (e.g. governmental) 

* Preliminary budget and fees (not exceeding a prescribed limit) 

* Other information supporting the application 

If you need more time to prepare all the information above, let us know

L’AFCP décerne chaque année un prix de thèse récompensant un travail de qualité exceptionnel dans le domaine de la communication parlée, évalué selon trois axes principaux : la qualité scientifique, la clarté du manuscrit et le rayonnement du candidat. Le prix de thèse AFCP, doté d'une somme de 500€, permet de soutenir et diffuser les travaux de jeunes chercheurs du domaine, et de promouvoir les recherches en communication parlée, fondamentales ou appliquées, en STIC, SHS ou SDV.

Pour l'année 2012, le prix de thèse AFCP a été attribué à *Camille Fauth*, du laboratoire Linguistique, Langues, Parole de l'Université de Strasbourg, pour sa thèse intitulée  *Perturbation de la production de la parole suite à une opération de la glande thyroïde*, préparée sous la direction de Béatrice Vaxelaire.

La remise du prix de thèse aura lieu pendant les Journées d'Étude sur la Parole 2014 qui se tiendront au Mans, du 23 au 27 juin prochain (cf. http://www-lium.univ-lemans.fr/jep2014).
