Dear members,

Interspeech was definitely a great success: good location with plenty of space for posters and a wonderful amphitheater, excellent contributions, attracting social events, a famous signal processing jazz band at the opening session and an excellent taste of french food and entertainment for the banquet: we should heartly congratulate the organizers: Frédéric Bimbot, Cécile Fougeron and François Pellegrino.

Also a new board has been elected that is now chaired by Tanja Schulz: we can all expect a brilliant president term. Courage and good luck for the new team.

I had the pleasure to meet many of you in Lyon and I thank all of you who said very encouraging words concerning ISCApad: it is a good stimulus to go on with a better service.
