Dear ISCA Members,

The Interspeech 2013 paper submission deadline is approaching: *March 18*, 2013 (and April 19 for *Show & Tell* and Other Special Events). It is the perfect opportunity for many of us, including me, to focus again on science and take time to write good papers! Presenting a paper in Interspeech is extremely important, not only is it the occasion to show our latest advances and ideas but also to help new/young researchers to get an idea of the state of the art and to understand what comprises the important and upcoming questions.
Please also look at the 12 Satellite events presented on the Interspeech website. Interspeech is really a catalyst for the speech communication research community!
I am taking this occasion to announce a change in our committees. Steve Young has just taken the chair position of our ISCA Fellows Selection Committee. Many thanks Steve for accepting this heavy responsibility and many thanks also, Lin-shan, for your role as Fellows Committee chairman during the past years.
March 1st, 2013, is also the deadline for nominations to the ISCA board elections. The Board will accept nominations either from proposers or self-nominations, as long as indication of support is provided. Please look at our website for details and don't miss the deadline.
