Dear ISCA members,
This month, many news about SIG's activities. Please pay attention on the call for organizing a new SIG on robust speech processing. Our colleague Professor Victor Zue from MIT has received the IEEE Jim Flanagan award. His major contributions to a better understanding of phonetics were applied to speech recognition with impressive results. He deserves our heartly congratulations. Do not forget to participate at ISCA general Assembly at Interspeech 2012 in Portland (Oregon). Bring your best ideas on how ISCA services can be improved and how you may contribute to it. I am looking forward to meeting you there. I draw your attention on the expiration of the discounted hotel room registration on August 8.
