Dear ISCA Members, 

INTERSPEECH 2012 will be the latest international conference in the annual series of INTERSPEECH events sponsored

 by ISCA (International Speech Communication Association). The conference will be held in Portland, Oregon, US, 

September 10-14, 2012. The INTERSPEECH meetings are considered to be the top international conferences in 

spoken language processing, with more than 1000 attendees from universities, industry, and government agencies.

 The conference offers the prospect of meeting future leaders in the speech and language field, exchanging ideas, 

and exploring opportunities for collaboration, employment, and sales through keynote talks, tutorials, technical sessions, 

exhibits, and poster sessions. In recent years INTERSPEECH meetings have occurred in Pittsburgh, Lisbon, Korea, Geneva,

 Denver, Denmark, Beijing, Belgium, Australia, England, Japan, and Italy. At this year's conference, we will be awarding 

the 2012 ISCA Medal as well as announcing several new ISCA Fellows. In the next few years, the meetings will be held in 

France, Singapore, and Germany. Best regards
