Dear ISCA members,

This issue comes a bit too late and I apologize for it. The good point is that it can be finalized in spite of a disk crash that could jeopardize the whole issues for several months. Our new organization allows to be almost independent of these troubles. Thanks to Haizhou Li who reacted so promptly to my SOS.

Our preeident summarizes the most important events in his message. I am always happy to notice the strong activity in speech by considering the quality and number of  job offers. From the point of view of workshop and conference organizations, ISCA is still quite active. Interspeech 2012 is coming soon and organizers of Interspeech 2013 are very active. I recommend to look at their messages under our section ISCA Events.

Authors of books on speech and dialog are currently a bit asleep: either the production is slowing down or they forget to inform ISCApad about their new publications!
