Dear Members,

ISCA is quite active. You receive plenty of news about speech community's life: distinguished lecturers have been elected. Congratulations to Jeff Bilmes and John Hansen.

INTERSPEECH 2014 will take place in Singapore and its chairman is Haizhou Li: we wish him a great success after a lot of efforts to come!

Also the board calls for nominations of future ISCA fellows. Please check the deadline and send names of colleagues whose work deserves this recognition.

I remind the authors of books in speech processing to inform me: their book will be announced in ISCApad. Make use of ISCApad as an efficient tool to communicate all informations about speech activity: efficiency depends on you!
