Dear Members,

Year 2010 finshed with sad news: Ilse Lehiste from the Ohio State University passed away on Christmas. The board offers its sympathy to the family, friends and colleagues who lost a brilliant person.

Year 2011  begins with a very important information: Interspeech 2014
will take place in Singapore. Congratulations to the winners Professor
Haizhou Li and his  team! You will receive in time much more
information: for the organizing team a lot of work and for the members
several submissions to the earlier Interspeech conferences!

The board  wishes you a wonderful year 2011  and will keep serving the
spoken language community the best they can!
