Mobile Voice Conference 2011 from the Applied Voice Input/Output Society Speech as part of the mobile user experience
The Applied Voice Input/Output Society (AVIOS) and Bill Meisel's TMA Associates are holding the next Mobile Voice Conference January 24-26, 2010 at the San Jose Marriott in San Jose, California (www.mobilevoiceconference.com). The conference examines practical applications of speech recognition, text-to-speech, audio search, speaker authentication, and other speech technologies in mobile environments, as well as proper practices to make those technologies fully effective. Another major theme is the impact that familiarity and the user interface paradigm for mobile phones is affecting expectations of contact centers. The Mobile Voice Conference is the place to discover what companies are doing in this area; how applications and services are evolving; sources of technology, tools, platforms, and advice; what speech technology can and can’t do; best practices; and more. The Applied Voice Input Output Society is a non-profit professional society dedicated to providing education on the development and diffusion of real world applications of speech technology.
