The Applied Voice Input/Output Society (AVIOS) and Bill Meisel's TMA Associates are holding the next Mobile Voice Conference January 24-26, 2010 at the San Jose Marriott in San Jose, California (www.mobilevoiceconference.com). The conference examines practical applications of speech recognition, text-to-speech, audio search, speaker authentication, and other speech technologies in mobile environments, as well as proper practices to make those technologies fully effective. Another major theme is the impact that familiarity and the user interface paradigm for mobile phones is affecting expectations of contact centers.
