Dear Members,

Several deadlines are in the early days of November. On request of the organizers, I send you this issue a little earlier than usual.  Please take advantage of it to send a contribution or to register at preferred rates.

As a senior researcher in speech technology and in signal processing, I worked in earlier times with the papers published in the outstanding Bell System Technical Journal that are now all available in pdf.  I recommend younger researchers to look at the list of published papers during these  exciting years 1922-1983: they will cross a large number of seminal papers (see below under section Databases).

Please do not hesitate to contact me concerning the presentation of ISCApad: we are ready to implement any useful suggeestion.
